Toy Safety and the CPSIA
(Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act)

One year ago the toy industry was reeling from a crisis of confidence in toy safety resulting from a series of product recalls. Most of these recalls resulting from manufacturing in China due to high lead and mechanical faults in children’s toys.

Since that time Stack & Stick has stepped up to the front of toy safety with mandatory random testing from an outside third party CPSIA testing lab. All Stack & Stick sets are tested to these standards set forth by the CPSIA. In addition Stack & Stick has complied with the Toy Industry Association and the Toy Safety Certification Program. This managed program has three points for certification:

1. The design must be assessed for safety and hazards with in the product.

2. Producing factories both USA and abroad, must be audited for proper quality control through out the entire manufacturing process.

3. Toys are tested during the production at a frequency based on the plants demonstrated ability to continuously produce a complient product.

Stack & Stick is meeting the challenges of these new regulations with improved testing, better quality control, and working with Government regulated programs to provide you with a high quality, safety minded product. Please call us to arrange a meeting to come and inspect our quality and safety standards. We are proud to offer the opportunity to earn your trust in the Stack & Stick line of educational toys.
